Current Project...

I searched and searched for a sampler pattern that I liked - and there are some fantastic ones out there - but none of them had that asymmetrical, home-made charm that you see in old samplers.  I wanted things that were not to scale, slightly odd looking animals, and, of course, Daviot House included. 

I designed one that included all the things I wanted, to make it very personal and picking up my trusty Piper's silk floss and a random piece of cotton (thread count unknown, but it looks to be in the high fifties - sixties), I got to work...  I'll let you know how I get on!
