You'll Have Had Your Tea

A little pause for tea before tackling more RL and miniature DIY!

A delicious tart and freshly baked loaf (from Elizabeth) with oatcakes and a choice of honey or rose petal jam... served on my new tea set from Falcon that I painted with porcelain paints with an Avon jug of summer flowers..;

Enjoy!

  5. Thank you Jonquil for the invitation to Tea, which always tastes better when served in such delicate china!
    I too, have this Falcon china in remembrance of my mother-in-law who would always serve her tea in her VALDOR china teacups ( solid white fluted china with gold edging) just like the Falcon set. I never would have thought what an amazing change could be wrought by painting it as you have so Beautifully done! I LOVE IT!
    I am glad that you are able to use the baked goods. I didn't recognize them until you mentioned them and then I took a closer look.
    They look right at home!:D

  7. Can smell it and taste it. Lovely the Edinburgh greeting - always have - but was never sure if they were inviting or discouraging! Clearly yours in an invite. Can I have some cheese with my oatcakes please. Marilyn
