A 17th Century Stumpwork Mirror

I thought I would just bombard you with photos for the reveal of the stumpwork mirror - to enjoy over a coffee this bright Sunday.  There have been quite a few additions since the last time I posted, see if you can spot them all!

Thanks so much for your kind comments in August, the surgery went well, and I am almost back to normal (whatever that is!)

                                              Jonquil

The details within the stitches of the tiny figures are all incredibly fine and precise. You have even teeny tiny stars within the design and what is amazing is that Every single thing is absolutely identifiable.
